Whatever function you are having – whether it’s a meeting, conference, workshop, team building event or a gala dinner, we have space and catering options to suit your theme and budget. Our catering team specialises in morning/afternoon teas, working lunches, canapés, lunch buffets, and dinner options.
International House at UQ has a range of rooms and spaces available for hire for meetings, conferences and events. These include:
I-House – An air-conditioned meeting room with seating capacity for up to 40pax
The Ivor Cribb Room – An air-conditioned meeting room with an outdoor area with seating capacity for up to 80pax
I-Plaza – Outdoor deck for cocktail receptions, canapés etc
G-Lawn – Outdoor lawn space for team building and BBQ events
Dining Hall – For meals with seating for 180pax
During the summer semester break, we can accommodate up to 200 guests as part of a conference or function package. Depending on availability, we also offer short term accommodation for up to 20 guests, with or without meals (min 3-night stay). View our rooms here.
