Our rooms have been designed with the best interests of students in mind. At International House you have the choice of a catered room (207 rooms) or a self-catered apartment (35 rooms) reserved for post-graduate and mature age students.

Every resident at International House has the privacy and security of their own room – there is no sharing.

Rooms at IH are some of the largest available on the UQ campus. The rates include all utilities; 24 hr onsite assistance; meals, cleaning and linen service where applicable and a comprehensive onsite academic support program.

No need to buy expensive starter packs, we supply everything you will need to move straight in.

Each room comes complete with:

  • High-speed wireless internet access

  • Secure key access

  • A king single bed with mattress, pillow and linen provided

  • A long study desk and ergonomic chair

  • Storage/bookshelf and notice board

  • Full length wardrobe with shelving

  • Carpeted floors

  • Large screened windows to catch the breeze and take in the green outlook, with some rooms having a small balcony

  • Telephone and personalised number (by request)
